We edit the noise of fashion shopping into a smaller, more useful selection. The Select Report is developing a Canadian-first marketplace for clothing and accessories alongside transparent Canadian pricing, original editorial perspective, and approved global-retailer catalogue integrations.
How we select
Our selections consider design, material, construction, versatility, distinctiveness, and whether a piece offers a convincing reason to exist beyond a passing moment. Inclusion is never a promise that a product is right for every reader.
How the business is supported
The Select Report plans to earn revenue through marketplace commissions, disclosed affiliate commissions, clearly labelled advertising, and brand partnerships. Commercial relationships do not guarantee favourable editorial coverage.
How the marketplace will work
Every vendor, retailer feed, and sellable product must be approved before it appears at checkout. The Select Report controls catalogue presentation, orders, refunds, and payouts; vendors remain responsible for authentic products, accurate inventory, fulfilment, and product compliance. Canadian vendors and products receive priority, while international products may be added through authorized commercial relationships.
Our editorial standard
We identify paid relationships, distinguish sample pricing from live retailer data, correct material errors, and avoid presenting advertising as independent reporting. Editorial links are not presented as products sold by us, and checkout will be enabled only for authorized inventory.
